Education:

1997-2002 - Studied with renowned artists Linda and David Elder in Ventura at their Crystal Hawk Studio.
1997-1998 - CSUN (Calif. State University at Northridge) art workshops.
1979 Graduate of Ventura College Fine Arts Degree.

Art Related Work:

2007-2004 - "Focus on the Masters" artist tour participant in opening my gallery and studio for public viewing. Focus group documents and preserves works of accomplished contemporary artists.
2007 - Buenaventura Gallery board member representative.
2007 - Curate art show for Harbor Village Gallery, Ventura CA
Past curating includes Plein Air Painters at Ventura City Hall, Artist Union Gallery, Buenaventura Art Association at Wright Library, and various banks.
2007-2006 - Worked on committee for "Who Got Framed" city sponsored fundraiser. Also donated works to this cause.

2006 - City of Ventura public commissioned mural of future Ventura for Arts in the Park week-end event involving feedback and participation of the public.
2005 - Design House artist for Wellness Community in Lake Sherwood, CA.
2005 - Invited to lecture as guest artist at Museum of History and Art in CA.
2002 - Commissioned Mural painting both indoors and out. Latest being an 11 ½ foot outdoor brick wall for a private residence.

Teaching Experience:

2007-1989 - Teaching art workshops to adults and children through the city of
Ventura. Classes are in sculpting, painting and drawing.
2006 - Art instructor for Saturday live model art workshop at CSUN (Calif. State University at Northridge). Workshops affiliated with college gallery.
2004-2003 - Artist in the Classroom (various public schools).
2007-2004 - Teaching Cultural Arts in various Ventura public schools.
1998-1997 - Kids in Motion in Los Angeles, CA.
